Kati is a researcher at Tartu University Institute of Social Sciences, and her interest lie in the connections of environment and society: the interactions of individual and structural drivers in shaping the attitudes and practices in transport choices, ICT use etc. She has carried out projects for the ministry of Environment and Social Affairs. She defended her doctorate degree at King’s College London (2011). She leads course on Environmental Sociology and Risk and Society.
